Harriett House Stansbury is a beautiful 100-year-old stone home that is surrounded by a lovely cottage garden. Centrally located in the lovely beachside town of Stansbury, Yorke Peninsula, it’s an easy 2-hour drive from Adelaide, and is located in the centre of town, two blocks from the beach & 5 minutes’ walk away from the award-winning Dalrymple Hotel, the IGA supermarket, chemist, butcher, homewares store and cafe.

With glimpses of ocean and garden from the verandah, deck and nearly every room, Harriett House offers a comfortable, private, peaceful retreat for couples, families and friends. If you want to feel like you are in a home away from home, then this is the place for you.

Harriett House is a fabulous spot for families year-round, with a wonderful, fenced kid's playground on the beach at the end of the street, as well as public toilets, beach shades, changerooms and lovely foreshore picnic spots. The jetty is a short 10-minute walk away for excellent crabbing and fishing, and the best swimming spot for families is an easy 5-minute walk from the house. There are walking trails along the coast and the low tides are great for fossicking.

Stansbury is an excellent base for exploring Yorke Peninsula and it’s only a 30-minute drive from Flaherty’s Beach, recently named as the 4th best beach in Australia. Port Vincent is 12 minutes away, and Edithburgh, Yorketown and Minlaton are all only 15 to 20 minute drives. The beautiful Innes National Park and Marion Bay are only an hour.

The house sleeps up to 10 across three large bedrooms and includes two living areas, two dining areas, and a large, covered deck overlooking the fully fenced backyard and lawn, so there is plenty of places for everyone to relax and enjoy their stay.
