Located on the shores of Spencer Gulf 168 Km from Adelaide. its sandy beaches is a perfect holiday destination for families, holidaymakers and fisherman. You can simply catch crabs, squid & gar on the jetty's or for the more adventurous large snapper and whiting in the bay or Gulf. Charters run out from Pt Hughes boat ramp most days weather permitting.
Moonta Bay and Pt Hughes are both close to the small town centre of Moonta. Cafe's, historic bubs and shops are very popular with people in retirement and holiday makers and families.
