About this property

Come and spend some time with us at Peg's Place!
Port Victoria is a small idyllic country town located on the Yorke Peninsula. Located on the Spencer Gulf, it offers some of the best fishing in South Australia. Peg's Place is a guest house located on an 18 acre hobby farm and is home to four horses, lots of sheep, two cows, one alpaca, lots of chickens and ducks. Bring your family and friends and spend some time enjoying the delightful scenery and sunsets that Port Victoria offers. Peg's Place is a short 2 minute drive to the jetty and beach. Get off line and enjoy each other’s company - we don’t have internet.

We reside in another house on the property. We are here to ensure you have a wonderful time on your time away. We are always available via phone if not on the property.

You have a wonderful view from the deck out front of your holiday home, with farming on one side and the ocean on the other. Don't forget your fishing rod ! Should you have a boat, please feel free to bring it along. We have plenty of room for you to park it and a fish cleaning area you are more than welcome to utilise.

Recently completed is our half court tennis court. If you enjoy a hit of tennis, sing out and we will make sure the racquets and balls are waiting for you.

Your holiday home is the original family home on this property and there are many loving memories contained within its walls. Whilst modest, it is homely and welcoming with all amenities catered for.

Port Victoria hosts a wonderfully friendly hotel which, by the way, makes delicious pizzas on Sundays. Our main street also hosts a general store which is available 7 days a week for your needs and a kiosk adjacent the stop for ice cream! 🍦

We highly recommend taking a short drive to our nearby beaches. Not only are they a sight to behold, they are also few of the 'drive on' beaches still remaining. 4WD is a must.

Watsacowie Brewery is a bespoke, family owned brewery located at Minlaton. Wonderful atmosphere including a wood fire, footy on the TV and a recently added outdoor undercover area. One of our favourite destinations.

Barley Stacks Winery is a boutique, family owned winery just a short drive from Peg's Place. They are open daily at the cellar door for tastings. We can certainly vouch for their wonderfully created wines.
